There are only 24 hours left to make your voice heard by taking part in our communications survey. This brief, anonymous survey will help us learn which services and communications are the most helpful to you and your bottom line, along with what you’d like to see more of in the future. All those who submit a response will be entered in a drawing to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards! The survey will close at close-of-business on Friday, March 2. Click here to share your feedback.

This week, Virginia REALTORS®’ legal team discusses the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, also known as the Dominion Pipeline. Erin and Austin  explore what a real estate licensee’s disclosure requirements may be for properties in the proposed pipeline’s path. They answer legal hotline questions, such as “I have a seller that lives in a county that is in the pathway of the pipeline. She believes that her property will be directly affected, and wants to know if she must disclose this to potential buyers?” Finally, they discuss how licensees can limit their risk when working with buyers and sellers in areas affected by the proposed pipeline. This episode of the Caveat REALTOR® podcast is available directly through iTunes, Stitcher, and SoundCloud.

DPOR is now accepting applications with electronic signatures on them. This update is a significant perk for all REALTORS®, but particularly for firms that have remote offices. All forms can now be signed electronically instead of individuals having to sign a hard copy and then send the document back and forth. We’ll continue to keep you updated with information and tips that impact YOUR business.
